The GOP "Big Beautiful Bill" repeals an excise tax on, wait for it, TANNING BEDS. People won't be able to afford a hospital bed with their cuts to healthcare, but, y'all, tanning beds get a tax break!!

So...trump says that it will be a hardship for Putin/Russia if they do not get to take ALL of Ukraine. WTAF is he babbling about, and who agrees with him?

"We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,". [Churchill's defiance against the fascists is relevant today, in country]

How can an American Citizen be "deported"? Isn't that supposed to be sending you to your home country? I think it's called "exiled". So the government wants to exile Americans. WTF?

Is the Trump's Administration $6 million to El Salvador to house deportees an overreach of use of funds especially given due process and human rights concern? Is there documentation or congressional notification? Can we get some oversight and trace the funds' source and legality? Someone...Anyone?

The regulatory requirements governing reduction in force are contained in Title 5, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 351. Federal agencies must follow the procedures contained in the Code of Federal Regulations when conducting a RIF. [They are not following the law].

So much coverage of this security screw-up, nobody is covering Musk as he shuts down the operations of our Social Security. Turn out the lights, the party's over. Let's see if the payments go out next month to 70+ million recipients.

While everybody's hair is on fire over the Signal Chat debacle, the Muskrats are quietly dismantling the structure of our Social Security System. Willful destruction, so they can privatize it.
March 26, 2025 at 10:12 AM
I suppose if the Russians are included in a "classified chat" it doesn't have to be classified. It's not really being reckless, if you don't care who knows about it. Unbelievable.

So much insanity as trump/Musk dismantle the government. I'm thankful for March Madness, to keep me from actually going mad.
March 22, 2025 at 6:35 PM
I decided not to donate any money to the Democrat Party or any Democrat, until Chuck Schumer resigns his Leader position. They are always asking, so I'm just sayin' no, for now.
March 22, 2025 at 3:10 AM
If old Joe would have made Jack Smith the Attorney General, and given him a green light, we would not be going through this shit-storm dismantling of the United States. trump would be in prison. The epic failure of the Biden Administration.

Wouldn't it be more symbolic if protesters used chain saws? In a peaceful sort of way, of course.
March 19, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Musk is the front-person, who claims waste-fraud-abuse all over the government. He has yet to provide any specific example, like the names of people cashing someone else's SS check. Who? This is a set-up, to close government agencies so they can be contracted out to their billionaire cronies.

I want to see somebody purchase a new Tesla Cyber Pickup, and do a promo by hacking it up with an Elon Model Chainsaw. And show it on national TV over and over.

trump's speech to DOJ is a litany of lies, lies, and more lies. I turned it off after 5 min. Talk about weaponizing the DOJ, he's doing it right out in the open.
March 14, 2025 at 7:46 PM
I just realized why the Democrats have had their asses kicked for so long. It is fucking Chuck Schumer. Geeze, I'm so stupid, I did not see this coming. We can't win anything with that feckless twit as leader.
March 14, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Every day, maybe more than once a day, trump changes the story of the "why" for his insane tariffs. Does that give you any idea that he has no plan? He does not know what he is doing. He is wrecking our economy, and messing with the global economy.
March 14, 2025 at 12:12 AM
Schumer has a Bluesky account. Follow him, let him know how you feel.
March 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM
trump always boasted about the stock market. Now that he has crashed it, he doesn't care about it (so he says). Let all his Billionaire donors come after him for what he is doing to them.
March 13, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Regarding the rampant firing of government employees, trump says "we are keeping the best people". Well, there are laws against that, too. There is an order of retention, based on service time, veteran's preference, and performance reviews and awards. You just can't keep who you deem "the best".
March 13, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Is there a more ignorant United States Senator than Tommy Tuberville? OMG. Remember that he said the 3 branches of government are the House, Senate, and the Executive Branches. He said that. He has no mind of his own, just what trump tells him to do.
March 13, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Federal Employees have retention rights. They can't just be let go with no warning. A RIF has to be declared. Personnel offices have to assist finding them a position somewhere else in the government, if available. Early retirements have to be offered. There is a system.Musk/trump violating the law.
