The federal tax credit for new and used electric vehicles (EVs) will end on September 30th, 2025. If you miss out on the tax credit, there are other still great deals on used EVs.

The Connecticut Chapter has a volunteer leadership board called the Executive Committee (ExCom). Nominations from our at-large membership for open seats on the ExCom can be submitted to the Nominating Committee until October 1, 2025.

CT (DEEP) has issued a tentative permit for a larger methane gas pipeline compressor station in Brookfield, CT. Expanding the Brookfield compressor station will result in more health and climate harming pollution.

We need your voices now! The pipeline that runs through Sherman, New Milford, Brookfield, Newtown, Monroe, Shelton, and Milford is on the cusp of gaining a permit to expand their compressor station in Brookfield and we need to stop it.

One of our chapter’s big campaigns is stopping the expansion of fossil fuels in our state. To spread awareness of the issue, last month we held a successful bike ride and stopped at fossil fuel infrastructure in New Haven.
