Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

RIP my old full armor kit- possibly the high water mark of my leather working skill. These were taken the last time I wore it for a guest lecture I gave at Duke University in December 2022. I had to pack the armor up and put it into storage shortly after, where it got completely covered in mold.

Leather collar intended for both battlefield garb and heavy play- 12 oz leather body with foam padding interior enclosed in soft garment leather. I liked the custom steel plate I made to secure the buckle, and how the resin wolf teeth turned out,
