Finally put together a commissions sheet, and with this a reminder that I am open for comms of all types.
Oh man, I'm kind of afraid to go look. Is there a reason we should be backing them up?

Oh geeze, I hope it's just sprained! In the meantime ice, baby, ice!

I'm unclear as to the difference between "stayed here" and "visited here" on this thing...

You should add Utah to your list, cause it's pretty darn neat here and there's someone here who'd be happy to show you around. :3

Yeah this is a thing that's really been frustrating me, too. Like I find a great artist who seems cool, but their feed is nothing but reposts. Or someone whose art I really enjoy but they are just constantly reposting their own same posts.

Happy National Bird day. Today I saw (rather than just heard) a ruby-crowned kinglet, and saw a crow doing that "drop a walnut to crack it open" thing on my driveway.

I have experienced the *flash*BOOM*suddenly pouring rain* like in the movies precisely once in my life and it was definitely spooky. While I was driving, in fact.

I've experienced this maybe twice in my life, but man, movies would have you expecting it's the norm.

Honestly I've been putting off raising my prices for years now, or doing so only very slightly. I think I need to do better.
It's a new year, time to raise those commission prices if you haven't in a while! At very least factor in inflation into the increase.

I wish Willow was better about telling us when she wants something, honestly. She just stares, or puts her head on my leg and then stares.

NPC syndrome. Just an oblivious lack of awareness or consideration that other people exist and their actions may impact others around them
At least in your situation you've probably got a good case to file a noise complaint if it's late night.

There's always one, isn't there? All my other neighbors are great, but the one whose driveway is RIGHT next to my bedroom window keeps the weirdest fucking hours, idles in his loud vehicle for 20-60 minutes in the middle of the night, slams doors, honks the alarm, etc etc.

2026 starts with my douchey oblivious neighbor being douchey and oblivious. Yay.

Seems to be how it goes. My big plans to get stuff done early are usually foiled by a morning migraine. XP

Unrelated, but could I ask you... I just finished all 3 Easton books and I'd love to read more of your stuff (love your writing style) in the new year. Where do you recommendation I start?

I was impressed by how many larger vertebrates made the list this year honestly. Usually it's a lot of plants and squishy critters.
