Has anyone else's Discover feed suddenly started showing NSFW/"thirst-trap" style posts from what looks like bot accounts, despite (genuinely) never interacting with/seeking out that kind of content? 😅 Feels like it happened almost overnight, now every 10ish posts. Blocking doesn't seem to help!

If you're a Spotify user who is finding the microgenre & geodata of your annual "Wrapped" to be less substantial than usual, there's a reason why.
A year ago, Spotify laid off most of its employees who worked on genre classification, including folks like data alchemist @glennmcdonald.bsky.social.

Spotify Wrapped feels really dialled back this year. Way less information given than previous years. Wonder if it's because they put all the time into the weird AI podcast thing instead

I feel like when a lot of people (including me) said they wanted a "classic Overwatch" mode, they meant the final, polished version of OW1. Not the very first version 1.0, which feels pretty unfamiliar/unbalanced at this point

So far, BlueSky's algorithm has decided I want to see entirely pictures of cats and space. Not perfect, but pretty close - and infinitely better than just showing me content designed to make me/everyone angry all the time ☀️
