Looking for cool people. Inquire below (being cool is not requirement)

12/12 With its reach expanding, Falun Gong’s influence through media and culture is a cautionary tale about surface appearances. But maybe I’m tripping, this becomes a more and more common occurrence in media

11/12 What seems like a benign beauty channel may be a vehicle for spreading Falun Gong’s beliefs. “Beauty Within” appears harmless, yet links to a movement that’s been tied to psychological control and anti-medical doctrines.
November 13, 2024 at 8:44 PM
10/12 For ex-members, this media control is painful. They report that Falun Gong buries criticism under a flood of positive content, making it nearly impossible for outsiders to see its dark side.
November 13, 2024 at 8:43 PM
9/12 Despite being banned from Facebook for misinformation, *The Epoch Times* moved to YouTube and Twitter, pumping millions into ads. It promotes conspiracies, blending news with Falun Gong teachings in a way that’s hard to distinguish from “normal” media.
November 13, 2024 at 8:43 PM
8/12 Media control? Falun Gong owns Epoch Media, which includes *The Epoch Times*, NTD TV, and Sound of Hope Radio. These outlets push the movement’s agenda, using mainstream news to influence global perspectives. Like the hellscape app we all came from

7/12 Dragon Springs also houses Shen Yun Performing Arts, a familiar name. Shen Yun’s elaborate ads are everywhere, yet the troupe’s performances subtly promote anti-communist messages aligned with Falun Gong’s values.
November 13, 2024 at 8:42 PM
6/12 Falun Gong keeps a low profile on its extreme beliefs, from an apocalyptic “weeding out” of non-believers to a hidden compound known as Dragon Springs, where followers experience lifelong indoctrination—and trauma.
November 13, 2024 at 8:41 PM
5/12 Another story follows Colleen May, who abandoned her blood pressure meds for Falun Gong “cleansing” routines. She also passed away, one of many cases revealing how harmful these beliefs can be for followers.
November 13, 2024 at 8:40 PM
4/12 Falun Gong’s principles promote self-healing, often urging followers to skip medical treatments. Ex-member Ben Hurley shares the tragic story of a friend who passed away after refusing medical care, believing stronger “faith” would heal her.
November 13, 2024 at 8:40 PM
3/12 *Beauty Within* hosts aren’t licensed dermatologists but look the part. They started as “Asian Beauty Secrets,” then rebranded and launched content at a fast pace. Hosts like Rowena openly promote Falun Gong beliefs on their personal channels.
November 13, 2024 at 8:38 PM
2/12 Falun Gong, founded in 1992 by Li Hongzhi, combines meditation with supernatural beliefs. The public sees peaceful practices, but ex-followers reveal disturbing stories about controlling doctrines and “healing” over medical help.
November 13, 2024 at 8:37 PM
1/12 *Beauty Within* has 2.69M subs and covers skincare & wellness, but there’s a twist. Rumors link it to Falun Gong, a spiritual movement with a complex past. Is it just beauty tips, or is there more below the surface?

I have a confession and I don’t know how others will react.

I think I’m tired of how “weird” things are. There always seems to be the next big, weird thing and I think, in a way, it’s similar to ragebait/shockbait. They’re all so exhausting and I’m so tired
