They don't have to be extreme or forceful. They can be 'just enough' to do their work. They can let beauty be beautiful, and let us thrive where we are put. They are for our fields not for the valley's air. They're always there: in wind or in calm. Tend them.

I've lived in New Mexico longer than anywhere else. The gov't is trying to help people & create some sort of sustainability. But since traveling to New Zealand, I just can't say enough about how far behind the US is in every way. In some ways, I had fallen for the "great country" myth.
