Wands 2.0 are taking shape. All of my wands have a secret compartment, but these have a compartment big enough for a full set of mini dice!

Making metal dice (hopefully) this weekend with my brother. Here's the schematic I came up with. It's probably wrong, but I've never done a schematic for machining before.

Got my kludgy DIY air cleaner up finally. It's always a struggle with dust when you have a mixed shop (wood/3d printing). This will hopefully help limit stray dust floating around and landing on everything.

Sometimes you just have to go with FIRE! (Don't worry, I got rid of all the saw dust before torching the blank).

Failure is ALWAYS an option. But a 50% success rate is lower than I'd like.

As @asavage.bsky.social says "failure is always an option". These two Christmas tree ornaments will never be. I let my tools get dull and it tore the grain right out of the purpleheart one, then I got sloppy trying to rush and caught the tool on the edge. The other one is just too cracked to finish.

Time for some production runs before the craft fair a week from tomorrow. 10 bulb ornaments, 9 Christmas tree shaped ornaments, 10 bottle stoppers, 5 finial ornaments and 2 magnifying glass handles. I can totally do this...

Sometimes 3D printing can be frustrating. Working on a frame to build an air cleaner for my shop, these are the corners (multicolor because I'm trying to use up old filament spools). The first 7 printed just fine, number 8 however had 3 fatal errors before printing correctly.
