I love this story (while, of course, also hating it).
Young musicians' dreams were dashed when the U.S. Marine Band followed orders to cancel a concert featuring middle and high school students of color, a result of the Trump administration’s executive order banning DEI initiatives. 60 Minutes, Sunday.

It finally hit me. All this railing against “woke” policies in the military is a red herring. He is not weeding out woke, he is weeding all competence, and installing pure cronyism - so the military is HIS for when the elections stop, and the Trump family begins its thousand year Reich.
