You’re going to get a lot of rejections and agents will ignore your emails and there will be naysayers around every corner and you’ll get 1-star reviews that are attacks instead of reviews. None of that matters. Keep going. Stay focused. Put in the work. Don’t quit. Go write.

random tuesday afternoon tidbit: citation isn't just about looking backward, doing your diligence, and giving proper credit. it's about bringing people -- readers, your audience -- in, bringing mutual interests to the fore. It says YOU cited one are or at least ought to be a reader of this book.

Yes. I am right. I am seeing how Chat GPT is ruining students critical thinking and writing skills in real time. It is not the future. It is a tool designed to render the populace helpless, to make people doubt their innate intelligence, and to foster overreliance on technology.
