It feels good to finally clear out this backlog of drafts. My hope is do better this year, since I do enjoy writing but the exhaustion from work really wasn't letting me do. I'm going to take more care of myself. That's the goal. n.n

(It'll be for 'Madness Is An Ally'. Sorry for the delay, but editing took a crazy turn into a lot of rewriting for portions that I realized were actually garbage after re-reading. >_> Now the story is much longer. Oof.)

I'm thinking about getting into more of a habit of breaking up my stories instead of stressing over posting everything at once. I usually do this for the ease of editing, since I tend to change things a lot, but maybe it'll be okay to just not be so anal about my writing. Worth a try, I guess.

When did editing become such hell? It used to take me two days tops, but now it's just months going by staring at paragraphs finding any reason to get distracted. =_= Where has my ability to focus gone? Ugh...

I finished my recent passion project after all this time staring at the incomplete draft, so next is either to grovel and give a real sweetheart their monster porn request or update a Elden Ring fic. (The latter is %99 done, but monster porn is fun.) 🫣

Life's been kicking my ass. A fire burnt my shit and I had to say goodbye to my cats. I don't think I'm mentally stable at all BUT I figured getting back into my writing might help. I have drafts for days, so maybe I can share something soon.

The struggle is real when you throw a character into your story at the end, and then have to bandage fix the whole story to make the character being there seem natural. 😩
