A lot going on in our lives right now, so we went with simpler costumes this time - we took the wigs and accessories we already made for the mario gals and mixed it with our love of Kimonos! 👘

YES! 💕 We should to do another photoshoot eventually. We have been bad at making new costumes this year with all the moving, but hopefully we'll have something for Matsuri, and if you're up for it we can plan a fancy shoot. Your art has evolved WONDERFULLY, even with you starting off very skilled!

In 2013, my little college cosplay club had a photoshoot. I was so excited to use a professional photographer for the first time that I made a new cosplay just for that photoshoot! After a week of hand sewing, I had the honor to meet the amazing talented @ctgraphy.bsky.social You are the best!!

Back in 2012 we performed our first skit based on Zelda OOT. We never looked back! We had a blast, even though we learned dance skits were not our forte. 😂

A few old closet cosplays. Not every cosplay needs to be top tier - the important part is having fun! I loved all these cosplays, even if the work was minimal for them.

The first time of many that we cosplayed anything Mario. 💕 This was worn for a con in 2011, but a friend (Yeonsu) helped me and my sister get some good pictures in the spring of 2012. Fancy Toad and Princess Peach in her White Dress from Smash Brothers!

Everyone has to start somewhere! These were our first three cosplays: Full Moon O Sagashite in 2008, Scrapped Princess in 2009, and Higurashi When They Cry in 2010. We have come such a long way since then!
