Chronic constipation=rectocele frustration. A hernia in the colon for poop to get stuck in - not fun.

New tool at AUGS PFDweek25 last wk. Releve looks like a great splinting tool to push poop out of rectal hernia.

LOVE U of Michigan's Healthy Healing After Delivery Program. Post delivery analysis of the pelvic floor zone is critical to quality of life. Mom's shouldn't have to suffer in silence. Well built video.

In 2011 @ transvag mesh meeting, well-established urogyn/researcher stated women in early POP stage don't have symptoms. I clarified that women w POP have symptoms, they just don't know what they mean since few talk about POP.

"We identified 37% (55/147) of patients w/o follow-up in 3 months after pessary placement." Not surprised @ outcomes from pessary study. Compliance is pivotal to improve QOL. So many lost to time or financial issues.

Will a pessary that releases estrogen reduce risk of erosion, shore up vaginal tissue integrity and support, and improve dry, irritated tissue comfort?

Not many studies on this. Check this out.
