Incision is incredibly painful today but barely any nerve pain, no more inflammation, and no infection yet! This was after the first pass with soap after taking the gauze off. Gonna clean it again to try to get rid of the excess adhesive.
I'm up and walking around too!

Surgery done and over with. Now time for recovery! No bed rest allowed, gotta be up and walking, but they said everything went as well as it possibly could have.

Surgery is scheduled for early November. Very excited to have this done and over with so I can get back to my life.

Final update (for now):
MRI results were not good, I have a birth defect that causes my disk to herniate itself any time it's unhappy. They gave me a spinal nerve blocker to stop the pain for a few months so I can figure out a solution, or get surgery.

Update:
Went for a follow up with an Ortho today, they took some X-Rays and said I definitely needed an MRI. Got an exploratory MRI scheduled for Monday, and some more painkillers to tide me over.
