I asked ChatGPT to take everything it knows about me and make me into a garbage pail kid. This is what it came up with. #hrcommunity #hr #chatgpt

Doing my first 5k in 10yrs this Saturday. Last year I made some small changes and focused on food with lifestyle changes. The result is that I’m 110 pounds lighter in weight.

It’s a good reminder that small incremental changes make significant changes at home and work.

Happy Friday, Everyone.

Spring is here!

Take some time this weekend to disconnect and connect on a personal level with your family and friends. It’s a great way to boost happiness in what feels like a chaotic world!

Just remember that when your budgets are tight, you can always lead an organization with empathy and kindness to build high functioning teams built. It also takes nothing to genuinely tell someone thanks or to give an ‘atta boy to someone. It will make a difference #hrcommunity #workplace

Give your teams the freedom to fail and the psychological safety to fail. You can explain to them that failing once and learning is different than failing 10 times over the same issue and not learning. Your stars on your team will rise if you set them free! #hrcommunity #hr #workplace

Happy thanksgiving everyone! I’m hella grateful for all of you out there! Thanks, for being you!

Don’t let thanksgiving week be the only week that you tell your team members that you appreciate them. Gratitude and appreciation should be given year round. The by product of this approach leads to a high performing and high trust team.

Crazy thought, but your team members get faster feedback on their social media channels by their peers, than they do from their manager.

Try switching it up to give praise and feedback immediately. Don’t wait to give it one time a year at the annual performance review. It’s too late #hrcommunity

In my opinion. One of the simplest ways to improve your culture at work is to reward hard work and kindness, over hard work and jerks. People have options of where and who they work for and I have yet to find someone who says they like working for and with a jerk. #hr #workplaceculture
