how is this little war with Venezuela going to unfold? Trump is going to announce it before we start to strike, giving them time to prepare? this is all so dumb

my personal theory about AI consciousness is just like how biological life popped up on earth as soon as it was cool enough to do so, so, too, does consciousness pop up in even "narrow" AI like LLMs as soon as possible.

got up the courage to send the first chapter of the beta draft of my novel to some people. I didn't look over it, so hopefully it's not too riddled with errors and goofs. but it is just a beta draft and I gave it to people on a lark.

again, people, it's not AGI or ASI we need to think about going forward, it's consciousness in AI. That's the holy grail.
