So many lives lost, directly and indirectly - most entirely unreported - over decades... not sure anything much is changing.

I find the repeated language of 'accuser' frustrating too, as though nothing was proven. Reality is doubted again and again and again.
Virginia Giuffre, Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein accuser, dies by suicide
Giuffre alleged she was trafficked to the Duke of York when she was 17, which he has strenuously denied.

Great to hear from @shelleytrower.bsky.social recently. It reminded me of the beautiful and insightful Living Libraries project she lead in 2019/20. I was lucky enough to be involved in a small way and it is still a wonderful window into libraries as seen by the people working in and using them.

I relate to this. The False Memory Syndrome Foundation was officially disbanded in 2019. The previous, widespread media coverage of FMS had a highly destructive impact on the lives of many survivors, myself included.

Because of it I even doubted my own sanity at the time. I kept my mouth shut for too long because of the narrative surrounding repressed memories.
