My review of the Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social is live on Goodreads. This is without a doubt the best book I've read in years. Stephen, thank you for Weasel Plume, Three Persons, Good Stab... and more.

ℭ𝔞𝔯𝔪𝔦𝔩𝔩𝔞 by Sheridan le Fanu is for the Nosferatu, classics, sapphic girlies 🖤
Without Carmilla there would be no Dracula. It is sapphic; it is feminist; it is a gothic classic. She is one of the very first literary depictions of a female vampire.

I loved 𝐒𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 by Eliza Clark.

It is feminist, it is queer, and it is glorious (though definitely horrible and made me squeamish in places too). If you like Black Mirror, you'll like this book.
