I’m working on a lot of simultaneous sculptures this weekend, so naturally decided to pile them all together for funsies. One day I just want to make a huge hoard of little animals— I blame playing with Littlest Pet Shop toys as a kid.

Pretty sure I have “sucker” written on my forehead at this point… introducing the newest studio assistant, Nyx🌙 He showed up on our doorstep as a very vocal feral kitten and after a month of bribing him with treats and toys, he now spends his days inside snuggling, napping, and playing.

The result versus the process! Made lots of little sculptures earlier this month for some molding and casting. The process always leaves my studio a mess, but I do enjoy the results (after they’re cleaned up, lol.)

Spent this morning rearranging the art studio and ending the day (and year) snuggled up with our pups on the couch. They’ve been drugged for fireworks and I really should be too before I impulse buy new studio furniture. Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year✨
