one of the biggest issues with cybersecurity experts is the same as lockpicking experts. They KNOW how to work around most common vulnerabilities to the point where it seems super simple to them, and therefore overestimate threats, when 99/100 attackers are just cutting the lock with bolt cutters.

it's wild how we just let the right have the "calm and reasoned" sentiment because whenever i'm talking to someone even mildly right wing i have to choose my words SO CAREFUL to avoid having to deal with them having a meltdown

whenever i listen to Juicy by The Notorious B.I.G. i like, LOGICALLY know the line about the world trade center was talking about the 1993 bombing, but i find it much funnier to imagine biggie as like the oracle at delphi and predicting 9/11 through his rap game
