Gardening developed over the years for me and moving to Colorado prompted me to learn more. Your landscape matters and knowledge on how to work it: PRICELESS. Last year I completed my 10 month long permaculture garden design course.

Being an herbalist IS NOT ABOUT MAKING TEA ☕️

It is about learning the body systems. Learn this and change your life.

When you understand how your body works, you stop guessing. Being a herbal practitioner you find that certain herbs benefit specific organs, systems and functions.

My dedication to herbalism runs deep. I never started this path to make money. I started in a community garden, I was just a mom who was tired and wanted a BREAK. I stepped into a garden in 2018 and everything changed. Growing with knowing.

Hi, I’m Shay.

Long ago, plants were used to help our people heal.

Then black people were forced to grow tobacco during slavery. Later, cigarette companies took tobacco and added harmful chemicals to be sold to Black communities.

“YOU ARE A SNAKE OIL SALESMAN!” , “This is why we have real doctors 😒.”

I’ve heard it all, people think herbs are useless.

I’m not here to sell you anything.

I’m here to share a little secret 🌿
Herbal incorporation matters.

My goal is not to sell herbs, it is to educate.

The power in knowing yourself, your body, and how to care for it the way your ancestors did is the key to medical freedom.

This is called preventative medicine.

2014 Vs. 2026

I’m not embarrassed, I’m educated.

Before holistic health entered my life I was tired, inflamed, bloated, disconnected from my body.

After I have never felt stronger, more regulated, connected to earth’s medicine and in tune with my body than I do now. I lost over 100lbs.

As a herbalist, I truly do not look at herbs or medicine as a one size fit all. There is not a remedy that works across the board. Let that sink in.
