Always looking for the next project/hobby I can halfway finish and then forget about forever.
It occurs to me that when confronted with something clearly disqualifying a candidate that is motivated by doing the work for the people would bow out and find some other way to help. That could include supporting another candidate (see NYC primary).

Refusing to go feels like ego and entitlement.

This may be wrong but it seems like masked law enforcement would potentially violate procedural due process and thus be unconstitutional.

If you can't be sure of who arrested you then you can't call them as a witness or present evidence concerning them that could be exculpatory.
