Return to S Gloucs today to see the Penduline Tits at Aust after seeing the single bird in Nov, showed great and one of 5 nfy species. Nice to see the 3 birds together briefly when they flew into a hedge to have a communal preen #95 fty #bristolbirding #birds

Llanrhidian marsh for an hour before sunset this evening, 8 new species. Pallid and Hen Harrier, Kestrel, GBB Gull, Snipe, G Plover, Brent Goose and G Woodpecker. #90 fty couple of distant Harrier pics

Local walk this morning and added 10 new species, best being Tawny Owl (pics), Crossbill and Willow Tit. Up to #82 FTY #birds

Started the new year with 72 species after a bit of a runaround yesterday, highlights being the Tundra Bean Goose (pics) at Kenfig, 6 goose types and Lesser Scaup in Carmarthenshire and Barn Owl, Goshawk, Woodcock local to finish the day. #birdingwales #birds

Finished 2025 on #273 species, 6 of those being sub species or possible released. Booted Eagle, February in Cornwall, Bufflehead, December in Caernarfon and Scot’s Owl in Swansea in December were three of my favourites of the year. #birds

Not done much birding the last couple of weeks due to feeling poorly so dragged myself out yesterday to Carmarthenshire to view the influx of geese. Tundra Bean,white fronted,pink footed, Egyptian, Greylag and Canada. Then spotted this Woodcock on the drive home #birds
