A civil society win! After the Kick Big Polluters Out coalition exposed the huge presence of fossil fuel lobbyists at COPs 28 and 29, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) now requires non-govt attendees to publicly confirm their full alignment w/ the Paris Agmt and Kyoto Protocol.

Moved by the music and resilience of the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra, who played their national anthem - while standing - as their last song. Conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson’s only words in English were, “The fight for the liberty of Ukraine is the fight for a democratic world.”

One of the participants in the workshop I facilitated this week referred to millennials as the older generation. I am GenX. Ouch. But bright side it was a human rights workshop so I guess the kids are alright.
