Teachers in Alberta bargain provincially for salary increases and improving conditions in all classroom. We then bargain locally for other parts of our collective agreements. Bill 2 prevents us from bargaining locally also.

This summer I finally had a garage built. Now that it snowed, I am overjoyed that I will not have to clear my vehicle!

I attended the rally in Edmonton today. Moving through the massive crowd was relatively easy. You could tell that this crowd has spent a lot of time exiting in an orderly manner when they practice fire drills!

Update on the CFL Rabbit: I saw him inside the furniture store I was at this morning. It is unclear if he was there working, or if he was looking for a hutch for his hutch. He hopped away before I could get his autograph. I was so stunned to see him, I bought a couch. #TrueStory

Now that I have had few days off, I have to help clean out my parents’ house. Mom died on July 19. Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in February. Going through their home is another emotional journey.
