I love travel shows, but even they glorify war. Until we can celebrate and enjoy the many differences that create a world mosaic, instead of funding war memorials and having war machine parades, nothing much will change.

I don't know whom to blame, but I'm really fed up with the 7 circles of Hell that simple online tasks have become. It's getting harder to get books for my Kindle, impossible to access geneaology, and a mind-twist to check medical information. Why?

Many years ago, John Lennon and Yoko Ono used a word in reference to women that was racially charged. I remember that. It's not a word I use, but it's sadly still too apt for this trend toward misogyny lately. Sexism and racism need to die out of any civilized country.

It must be hard to walk when your head is stuck where the sun don't shine. Colleges benefit EVERYONE, so of course everyone should support them. Only the uneducated think tuition covers all a college's costs. Only 22-66%, depending on the college type and state it is in.
