Looking forward to Cleeve Poetry Club (Gloucestershire Stanza) tonight. We’ll be considering four more poems from The Forward Anthology 2025, sharing our own work written since the last meeting, drafting new poems & enjoying some seasonal eats & drinks. DM me if you’d like to join us in 2025.

Super Zoom launch of 'The Where We Were' by Mark and Gill Connors (Yaffle) this evening. Guest poets were Jenny Robb and Sandra Noel whose collections 'Hear the World Explode' and 'Into the Under' are published by Yaffle/Yaffle's Nest ... and open mic poets (glad to have been one!)

Submission Possible! Carrie and Ingrid led a wonderfully constructive three hour session on-line yesterday. I brought order to my backlog of poems, prioritised, refiled and prepared them for public exposure. Time well spent. Thanks Carrie and Ingrid! @carrieetter.bsky.social

Poetry isn't all about getting published. It isn't how many subs you've sent. It isn't about being 'recognised.' It's about the words, the joy. It's about understanding & forever changing the world around you. It's about celebrating each other's courage to form something on the page
