A few days ago, I had the opportunity to conduct an oil spill assessment at a port owned by a state-owned private company. The port is located a considerable distance from the capital city of Riau Province, necessitating an extensive seven-hour journey.

Last week I conducted an oil spill assessment at a port owned by Indonesia's largest palm oil company in South Kalimantan. I admit that this palm oil company is very concerned about the hazards and risks of oil spills.
