I wish I could say I got a lot of reading done today, but I sat down to take a break and watch “one” episode of Severance to see if I’d like it. I’m currently on Episode 8. This show is crazy!

Dawnshard was a really good, fast paced novella. I just love Lopen and found myself laughing so many times! I’m jumping right in to Rhythm of War next!

Finally finished Oathbringer and it was so good. No surprise! It took me a little longer to get through but only because of work, stress, life, etc. So excited to dive into Dawnshard! I love Lopen and can’t wait to read more about him!

It was a great reading year but I have a feeling that 2025 is going to be even better!

I finished Edgedancer. Even his novellas pack a punch at the end. I’m definitely jumping right into Oathbringer. I don’t know why I briefly thought I could read anything else but a Sanderson novel at this point.

I finished Words of Radiance last night and wow. That was so good. How does he do it?! Currently reading Edgedancer and trying to decide between taking a break and reading Blood Over Bright Haven or jumping right in to Oathbringer. 🤔

No updates but Christmas and Words of Radiance have completely taken over my life! About 630 pages through and I’m finishing this before the year ends!

I’ve heard a few reviews saying The Way of Kings was slowish until the end. I’m so completely hooked on this story at 300ish pages that having to pause reading to go to work feels like torture. Only 8 more hours to go 🥴

Side note: I did manage to finish This is How You Lose the Time War. Absolutely beautiful writing and I loved the ending. 4 ⭐️

Absolutely no one in my life has understood the importance of me starting The Way of Kings. As a result, I’ve barely been able to read 100 pages! Today though, today is the day. I’m not leaving my house and I’m finally going to spend some time reading this like I should.

I finally finished Warbreaker and I ended up really liking it! The magic system was really intriguing and I really loved Lightsong and Susebron. As soon as I finishing typing this, I intend to dive right in to The Way of Kings. And so begins my Stormlight Archive journey!

I’m just curious to know how many books everyone reads at one time. I usually read 2-3. 1 audiobook and usually two books. When I’m reading something really good, I get too immersed and forget about the others!

Just finished Elantris and it was a solid 4.25⭐️! I really enjoyed it and just wish there was more! I followed that up with The Hope of Elantris from AU and now I’m starting Warbreaker before I jump into The Stormlight Archives! I can’t wait to read more Brandon Sanderson stories!

I’m nearing the end of Elantris and anyone who said this book was slow or hard to get through, was just plain wrong! I still have a little under 100 pages to go but I’ve really enjoyed every second of this novel!

I wasn’t able to read much today due to thanksgiving preparations and family in town. I know I won’t be able to read much tomorrow. My brain is telling me not to stay up too late reading tonight, but my heart says it’ll be fine and being tired is a future me problem. 😅
