My first trap set since 17th Oct, and eventful. Several Redwing ‘tseep-ing’ overhead, moon intermittently popping out from behind the light cloud………. then this thudded into the lawn 4 feet away! 🎆 🧨🤔. #TeamMoth #DERBYSHIRE. Mr ‘W’ averted, phew 😮💨 with a LBAM already to save my bacon.

A relatively good night #DERBYSHIRE for the Apprentice- 29:14, 6 NFG…G Brindled Cres, 3 Merv, 2 YL Quaker, 1 Juniper Car, 1 Barred Sallow, 1 Feath Thorn. Plus one escapee NFG but unidentified. Grrrr 😖. I can try and sketch it for a tentative ID but hope is slim. Next time…… #teammoth #mothsmatter
