Here in Canberra, we’ve seen what strong community support for Greens policies can achieve. But while our city leads the way, Labor keeps dragging its feet—and honestly, they’re risking taking us backwards. 👎

Our team kicked off the week at the Early Morning Centre, cooking up our own take on spaghetti bolognese (with a vegan twist), garlic bread and cookies + ice cream 🍝✨

Tonight, the Greens have secured significant concessions from Labor on their unfair health levy. Not only have we reduced it from $250 to $100, but we’ve also secured commitment to partially adopt our policy to tax big corporations so they can pay their fair share to fund services we need. 🧵1/4

This week Labor and the Liberals have announced their new housing ‘policies’—and needless to say it’s another drop in the bucket compared to action we need to tackle housing.

🚨THIS MORNING🚨The government has allowed destructive development to begin on the ecologically significant Ainslie Volcanics site—and brave environmental protestors have now been arrested for protecting the area.
