NYFF63 Press Screening: #SentimentalValue is told with something palpable as a famous movie-directing father attempts reconciliation with his two daughters. One is a famous stage actress whom he has written a script for. There's beauty in seeing a father's actual understanding of his children too.

NYFF63 Press Screening: Mascha Schilinski gently tells a multigenerational story though patriarchal abuse is in focus. The German filmmaker spans time periods - 1800s, mid-20th century and current times - and invites the viewer into a very personal look at the lives of the women affected. #film

I had the great pleasure to attend the premiere of "Taurasi" - a new three-part docu-series on Diana Taurasi. Diana is such a force of nature. This series demonstrates her resilience. She had to leave the U.S. and move to Russia to play professionally in order to gain her self-worth.

Had the pleasure of attending a screening of #FreakyTales last night. In the Q&A afterwards with Anna Boden, she described the film's intent: to be a type of cinematic mixtape. The movie-going experience made me feel as though I was watching an actual 80s film--not an easy feat. #film #movies #nyc
