Some of the videos I’ve seen of Tysons on Black Friday must be from recent transplants. Sure, it looked busy, but speaking from experience, Black Friday at Tysons was truly chaotic 10+ years ago like you see in old school holiday films.

I had a feeling American Cup would eventually return in some compacity. Just no longer as a World Cup event since FIG scrapped the AA series.

I had a feeling American Cup would eventually return in some compacity. Just no longer as a World Cup event since FIG scrapped the AA series.
Seeing the success of BLR at T&T Worlds, it’s interesting BLR has managed to be so successful at all other gym disciplines yet still struggle to revitalize artistic when they were one of the backbones of the USSR. But brain drain was very real there in the '90s and '00s.

I don’t have a strong opinion on the design of the medals. Frankly, the only thing that matters is to me is they aren't as bad as the Olympic medals. As long as they don't chip, rust or flake within days, I can't complain.

ZBH should be so dominant and on the path to becoming a legend, but I can always tell from his interviews that he feels a tremendous burden when he competes.

I'm a little bummed out for Bulgarian gym after a pretty successful season of promising results until Georgieva's injury and the Penev bros' flop qualification.

The current Russians don't quite inspire me like the old school Russians. This group is a little too rough around the edges for my taste.

Honestly, Aliya deserves a lifetime achievement award. The fact her UB composition remains the blueprint for most Russian routines and still wins medals in all the codes.
