Chickpea is such a silly smooshy rat! I adore her silliness, she spends most of free-range trying get me or the other rats to play with her!

I found this adorable mini fridge toy & of course I knew it would be perfect for my rats! Cracker immediately recognized it as a fridge prop and fetched the mini food from it accordingly!

I hate to say it, but in the opposite of a Christmas miracle my sweet rat Popcorn passed away yesterday afternoon 💔 Popcorn was an amazing rat, and one who I am so so glad I got to love and care for. Rest in peace sweet Popcorn, you were the best ❤️

My sweet Raisin is gone. I feel so lucky to have had such an amazing rat like Raisin - she gave me an amazing first experience with werewolfs, being healthy and sweet her whole life. Goodbye my sweet wrinkly changeling girl - I miss you already ❤️

Pickle doing a fun agility course, with some appropriate mario sound effects added in! I can't help but hear those boing noises whenever rats jump lol, they just have such a bouncy hop!

So I'm going through some of my more recent rat photos and I wanted to reshare these gems lol - these were taken when Chickpea was first meeting my "difficult" girls, ie the ones who don't intro super well to new rats. Poor older girls didn't know what hit them!

Another of my favorite rat clips, this time featuring Toast and her silly habit of holding food in her mouth when sleepy lol. Here we were doing intros and Toast still wanted to save her snack for later - she is one dedicated little foodie bean!
