I’ve lost access to my Bluesky account — I hope temporarily — so here I am in shadow form until I can rematerialize. Even my shadow was raised by books.
The entire week has been trying, which means things are looking up, right‽ 😁

I’ve so missed touching base with you! I’m just now getting caught up on what’s been happening with you and Miss Abby. Thank goodness for @kafkaesque2024.bsky.social’s wisdom; it’s going to support you in a significant way.

I recognized it because I liked it enough to find it on Apple Music after you used it before. It’s in one of my playlists now. I guess I’m a sap. 😂

Nope. They’ve been “looking into it” for three days now. 😒

Oh, the story I could tell! I’m still locked out of my own account!

The shyness of the crown. 💚

I don’t know whether you posted this tongue in cheek, but it made me laugh. (Rather than cry, I think.)
January 16, 2026 at 4:38 PM
Another masterpiece!

2/2 I did a whole thing on the significance of lightness and darkness in the novel and developed an entirely new respect for Hawthorne’s skill.

1/2 I know what you mean, Scott. I didn’t really appreciate it until I was in grad school and the professor assigned the book to me for in-depth analysis. (The course was less about specific books and more about how to read deeply.)
