Oakland Coliseum, October 9, 1976. Great show where they're opening for the Grateful Dead (this is the first of two shows).

Saw this on FB, which reads kinda funny, since he was actually in the band. It could almost read if he were the opening act, with an orchestra behind him...now, that would have been epic!

This was an insert that came in his "Wild & Crazy Guy" album, suitable for framing. We did just that, way back in the early '80s. A couple of visitors to the house who weren't aware of him actually asked us if that was some weird relative of ours!

Tick-tock, old man.
We can only wonder if he'll resign, defy orders, or cash out by then.

I saw this photo of Ozzy's funeral procession earlier today...and that guy in the light-blue denim jacket sure reminded me of somebody, if you don't look too hard. ;)

You may know him as being a kind of '50s-style rocker, but check out the two albums he did with Love Sculpture, not to mention their lightning-fast rendition of "Sabre Dance". The first album's a straight Blues album, the second was more of a psych/prog-type album.

And after an embarrassingly failed bid for movie-stardom, he decided to become a bootlicking racist fascist loser has-been.

Wow...didn't think I'd be writing that down anytime soon...oddly enough, he just played his final show a couple-few weeks ago...at least he got to do that.
Gotta say, I've been listening to Black Sabbath since the age of four, when their albums seemed to be playing a lot

Underrated 2-CD set released back in 1996, which was a hybrid collection of live material mixed with an acoustic-driven studio session with a small audience, as well as some other semi-acoustic performances.
