I love listening to John talk about his travels. We've been married for 32 years, and I always learn new things from him. He's never boring (me on the other hand....boring might be my middle name).
John talks about the different Parrot species that he saw in Peru! We had such a blast talking all about his recent trip to Peru and all of the amazing birds that he saw. Tune in to our latest episode to hear more!

Why do birds in Florida love those dirty stretches of water on the side of the road? Why do House Sparrows call out from their nest when they have eggs? These are two mailbag questions that we answer this week!

We love to show people birds in the collections. It's one of the funnest things we do. John giving a tour like this was at the genesis of our podcast. Amanda and RJ went on one of these tours and were awed by the specimens (and John). The rest is 100+ episodes later. @birdsofafeatherpod.bsky.social
