I've spent the last couple of days learning some new processing techniques for my astrophotography. The North American and Pelican Nebulae were photographed using a dual narrowband filter that records light from Hydrogen gas as reds and Oxygen as blues. #astrophotography

I’m sure you’ve seen images of the occultation of Mars by the moon that happened last night. Here is a sequence of images I made of the event from just before occultation to just after Mars reappears.
