Well, today I hit the big 5-O. 50 years old, writing part 5 of book 5, of The Cain Series, which is my 15th novel. Lot of 5s in there, so I looked it up: 5 represents freedom, change, adventure, and communication. Just what a novelist needs (probably, we all could, these days).

I find it impossible to view senate democrats' betrayal with their CR vote as anything except deliberate sabotage.
