🚨 Legal Alarm: We’re watching the rise of an American Enabling Act 2.0.
The GOP is pushing legislation that bans national injunctions—a direct assault on judicial power. 🧵

1/ ⚖️ Goldstein & Singla, PLLC unequivocally condemns the violent, unlawful arrest of David Huerta, President of SEIU California & SEIU-USWW.
💪 Mr. Huerta is a labor hero — injured, pepper-sprayed & detained for standing up with working families. Absolute disgrace.

Trump is declaring war on the residents of Los Angeles. This is a fascist crackdown that could leave innocent people dead or seriously injured. Do not take the bait—stay nonviolent. They want chaos to justify more brutality. We won’t give it to them.

🚨 Victory at Smith College!
530 student dining hall workers have ratified their first union contract with @OPEIU Local 153.

We at Goldstein & Singla, PLLC were proud to support this fight — but make no mistake:
The workers made this happen. ✊🍽️ #UnionStrong 🧵

I don’t shy away from calling things as they are. Last night’s murderous attack was fueled by antisemitism—not a stand for Palestinian rights. I will continue to speak out against fascism, antisemitism, and all forms of racism targeting any group in this country.

The tariff war is over—no manufacturing boom, no trillions in tariff revenue. Trump blinked again, and now we’re applauding him for cleaning up his own mess. How pathetic.
May 12, 2025 at 9:09 AM
So now Trump wants to hit reset and pause tariffs back to the pre-April 2 chaos—proving this was all a giant waste of time. He’s a paper tiger who folded under pressure. All he’s done is clean up a mess he created. Bravo?

Hitler suspended civil liberties in 1933. We know exactly where that led. There is no way in hell we’re letting habeas corpus be abolished in America. I’d rather die than live in a Nazi country that allows it.

Trump administration 'looking at' suspending habeas corpus, Stephen Miller says
Multiple court cases challenging the Trump administrations effort to deport undocumented immigrants from the U.S. are based on habeas claims.

Americans have a right to expect basic competence from their government—regardless of ideology. Instead, we’re getting far-right dogma mixed with Keystone Cops dysfunction. The airline industry is a mess, tourism is tanking, tariffs are about to gut consumers—what could possibly go wrong next?
May 6, 2025 at 11:46 AM
Plane crashes, demoralized controllers, a 90-second radar blackout, mass cancellations at Newark — but sure, none of it’s related to the geniuses who fired half the air traffic controllers. The airline industry is in free fall — just another symptom of a country in a tailspin.

When tariffs empty the grocery shelves, some folks just head to the nearest toxic pond for dinner-now that’s what I call locally sourced!
May 2, 2025 at 10:33 AM
They’re not coming. The shelves will be empty—period. Whether Trump tweaks the tariffs, scraps them, or pretends it’s all fine, the damage is done.
Massive shortages are locked in.
We’re screwed—and no bailout’s fixing this.
May 1, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Trump got played by China—and now Americans are paying the price. The economy is spiraling into stagflation: rising prices, job losses, and empty shelves. This isn’t “winning”—it’s economic sabotage.

Our country is unraveling—piece by piece—because one reckless, narcissistic idiot.

Airlines cut flights as industry pushes for tariff relief amid declining demand

American consumers: stay tuned 📺 for bare shelves 🛒 at Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, and your local grocery store — all thanks to Trump’s reckless tariffs 🚫. Get ready to pay more 💸 and get less.

A 4-year-old American citizen with Stage 4 cancer was unlawfully ripped from their doctors and deported without medication. This is Nazi-level barbarism. They were targeted because they were Latina — and now racism will kill them.

Great job, Trump.
Today, 40% of cargo ships leaving China for the U.S. were empty.
Can’t wait to see the “winning” when shelves are bare and prices explode.
Maybe we can eat tariffs for dinner?
April 26, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Trump’s tariffs are smashing Main Street.
The IMF just cut our growth forecast from 2.7% to 1.8% 📉 and says inflation could shoot up to 4% 📈.
Stagflation is here.
Higher prices + a sinking economy = pain for workers, families, and small businesses.
All because of Trump’s trade war tantrum.

So to sum up the Wisconsin arrest issue:

ICE didn't have a juridical warrant. They only had an administrative warrant.

The DOJ has not convened a grand jury to indict the judge. They only got a criminal complaint before a magistrate judge.

This is ridiculous.
