I think another portion of the problem is that humans still do not see other humans as "human." So they only want to provide for a certain group of humans while using the tech they make to only uplift themselves and claim superiority....as an effort to be seen as the most human, or better than human
I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society).
We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it.
This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.
