A few days ago, I received the evaluation on an academic manuscript. One of the reviewer reports was clearly written by an LLM. Any editor who sends me one of those should know that their journal will not convince me to do one single review for them for the rest of the times.

If the scholarly community allows such practices this will only fuel the prevailing anti-intellectualism, eventually leading to the complete delegitimation of academic institutions. We should ensure that scholars severely respond to any engagement with censorship.
