I've always tried to serve every patron equally while not giving any patron preferential treatment. But now, I'm not sure if I do it to respect patrons through equality, or if I'm gleefully disrespecting everyone equally. The line has blurred. #librarylife #librarian #libraries

Welp... it's finally happened. I just helped a patron who used ChatGPT to look up an author and book series, and they were surprised at how shockingly inaccurate their search results were. I can't believe I'm at a place in my career where I'd rather recommend Google. #Libraries #Librarian
