Having faith that people will do the right thing is setting yourself up for failure. Sometimes it ends up being the case, but oftentimes it is not. You are better off banking on cruelty from others instead of kindness.

If a child dies from a disease preventable by a vaccine the parents refused to give them, then the parents are murderers and should be charged accordingly. They murdered a child.
