She signed both my Funko Pop and our photograph! She was incredibly sweet, and she liked my Shadowheart/Tav itabag 🥺 She was even kind enough to give me a Shadowheart keychain (that I will forever cherish) 🤗💕

it's okay to rigorously curate your space. there's a lot of guilt-tripping around that simple fact, but it's true. fandom is not community service. there is no need to expose yourself to ill-behaved, unkind people or things you don't want to see because of some ludicrous social contract.

as cruel as it might sound, fandom communities become tenfold more peaceful when you realize that you don't need to share space with people simply because they supposedly enjoy the same thing as you. a shared interest does not a good friend or ally make.
