I’ve seen way more of the Oscar movies this year than usual. Ranked list off the top of my head: 1)Anora; 2)Wicked; 3) Conclave; 4)A Complete Unknown; 5) The Substance; 6)Emilia Perez. I liked most of these but Anora is the one I’ve thought about the most (in a good way) since watching it.

This part. It breaks my heart to know a non-zero number of representatives who will vote for this have a staffer or family member whom it will hurt.
I don't give a shit whether or not mcbride herself wants to compromise on her treatment in Congress. That rule applies to staffers, and like anyone. That is unilaterally making a choice for a whole ass minority. If it starts in the house of reps is it going to end there?
