We love it in my house too! I still have my copy from when I was a child, and can recite almost all of it from memory (with the poems always in a different random order) to my now nine-year-old. I am so glad anyone else remembers this book! ❤️

It really upsets me that the producers won't use it as a teachable moment for viewers who may not have the nuance see these behaviors for what they are. It's really gross and upsetting.

Finally made time to watch Sinners. Impeccable cast, and pacing. The tone was incredible - did not want to look away. The action was intense, and never dragged on too long. The characters made believable choices, and the world felt lived-in, real. Already watching it again. Thank you, Ryan Coogler.
