Heya, I’m Senny, a detail-focused cosplayer with a thing for fabric textures. I mostly portray fantasy characters, with a few others chucked in there. I generally do sewing-based cosplays but I’m slowly expanding towards more armour/props. Also active on FB/IG as Sennedjem Cosplay.

Yes I forgot the bracers today but ahhhh, look, a real try on of everything for Galadriel!! I have just a few things to fine tune with the quiver rigging but it all works and sits where it’s supposed to and I am just so so happy with the full look! #galadriel #ringsofpower #tolkien #cosplay

Gale belts! I love a fun belt and both of Gale’s canon outfits have excellent ones. Here we have his regular robes belt, camp outfit belt, and then one of my own devising to go with a design that I will HOPEFULLY be debuting at Katsucon 🤞

More than anything, just tell the creators of things you like that you Iike them! Leave comments, click like, share, all that stuff. It’s fuel for creatives.
I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

As proud as I am of the camp tunic, I honestly think the belt might be my favourite piece of the outfit. There’s something about the gleam of real metal and how well the weathering worked on the tiles that just delights me no end.

Gale’s camp tunic is DONE!! Just under 200 (196) hours of hand embroidery on this piece and I’m so proud of how it turned out.
All that’s left is to finish the detail stitching on the trousers so I’ll very likely be bringing this along to Katsucon in Feb 👍

So I thought I had another hoop’s worth of embroidery to go on this hem, but I double checked my measurements and lo and behold, it’s long enough! (I knew I’d left myself plenty of extra on the pattern but I didn’t realise HOW much extra). 90 hours of hand embroidery for that long, long piece!
