Tunnel Junction Semaphore, Worcester. 15 December 2024. #railway #photography
Lower quadrant semaphore TJ8, controlled by Tunnel Junction signal box in Worcester. As is typical, the distant signal is fixed. The pole and finial are a green/grey colour from the accumulation of lichen or suchlike. An old 15mph speed restriction is just behind the signal, on the right of the frame.

In the platform on the left is TfW DMU 197125, working a slightly delayed 2B65 Cardiff Central to Pembroke Dock. On the right is GWR IET 800005 “Aneurin Bevan”, working 1L26 Carmarthen to London Paddington, with the lower-quadrant semaphore cleared for it to proceed.
