Fuck Elon. Free Gaza. The history of society is the history of class struggles.
Been feeling like adopting a Left-accelerationist perspective is the best/only way to keep hope for the future… man, things are bad…

People need to realize that the truth no longer matters to these people, only what feels right to them. The New Orleans attacker was Muslim so he's coded as foreign even though he was US citizen born in Texas and served in the military for 10 years.

What's worse, is that this is effective.
even though the New Orleans attacker was born in Texas and is a veteran, House Republicans on Fox are following Trump's lead and just pretending that he came across Biden's "open border"

The MAGA infighting of the past few days has given me a much-needed restoration of a tiny bit of hope, going into 2025. Like a refreshing shower after a long day.

Trying to downplay the rhetoric around this assassination, and the valid concerns about the current state of things is one thing.

But to brazenly state that CEO Brian Thompson ranked as one of the few biggest positive effects on the US healthcare industry is absolutely insane and tone-deaf.
United CEO Andrew Witty gave an address to the company today (leaked to me), telling employees "we guard against...unnecessary care" and that "There are very few people in the history of the U. S. healthcare industry who had a bigger positive effect on American healthcare than Brian [Thompson]."

Genuinely, what reason could there be for this, other than

“Eh, it’s too hard and unnatural for current legal precedent to prosecute a sitting president, so let’s just let him get away with it?”

Finally migrating from Twitter. Hope this place doesn’t smell quite as bad.
